Billy Ripken, 1989 Fleer #616

WARNING: This post contains explicit language and graphic images. It is not for the easily offended or the innocent wee ones. Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children???

Well, you've been waiting long enough, and today is as good a day as any to unleash the infamous Billy Ripken Bat Knob Obscenity Card upon you. I've seen enough April Fool's jokes across the Internet today (some well-done, some less so) that I'm a little fatigued by the whole thing and I'm choosing to celebrate this day in another fashion. Big brother may have been a Hall of Famer and a record-holder, but he never cost any card company employees their jobs. Now that's a feather in the ol' cap if ever I heard of one. Without further ado, please enjoy your bit of filth.

I've never owned the Fu¢k Face card, though I did have the scribble and the black box versions. (Will you post those as seperate entries, or do you consider all variations to be the same card?) I've long thought about picking the FF card up from ebay just for pure novelty value. Seems like it can be had for about $10 from ebay. One of these days...

I don't do a lot of active collecting these days but this card is on my list. Greatest baseball card ever.

I got this card in one of those ebay auctions of "500 Orioles cards". I almost didn't notice it and several times have come close to mailing it off to another Oriole collector in a box of my duplicates.

FTB - I've already posted the black box version previously.

Heath - I wouldn't argue.

Tim - You're going to have to give it a special top loader or something!
