Great timing, just read this tidbit in Jason Stark's article (http://espn.go.com/mlb/blog/_/name/stark_jayson/id/7820538/useless-wild-weekend-information)
Armando is one of 4 relief pitchers who ever whiffed at least nine in a row (though obviously not in one game): Eric Gagne (10; May 17-21, 2003), Ron Davis (9; May 4-9, 1981), Armando Benitez (9; Sept. 8-14, 1998) and Joaquin Benoit (9; May 17-23, 2010).
No closer in major league history has caused more people to shout more swears in consecutive appearances than Armando as well...I don't have the stats to back that up, but I definitely have the hands-on experience.
I can remember playing with baseball cards as a toddler, but I actually started collecting them when I was ten. Now I'm an adult looking for an outlet to talk about my hobby without receiving blank stares in return. You can contact me thusly.

Tim - I didn't see that stat. Thanks for sharing!
Max - You and me both, brother. I think he also led the majors in beanballs immediately after backbreaking home runs. Just ask Tino Martinez.
