It's a shame that it can't be seen from the stadium anymore because of that damn Hilton in the way now. I wonder if there are anymore cards showing the tower in the background.......
Ryan - Sad but true. On Opening Day 2009, my father and I sat in the upper deck well down the third-base line. I think we could still see the tower from that angle, but in most other seats in the ballpark, it is obscured by that charmless hotel.
You might notice that the stop motion Orioles animation exist in an alternate universe where that ugly Hilton never existed. I refuse to build a miniature cardboard one for the set.
I can remember playing with baseball cards as a toddler, but I actually started collecting them when I was ten. Now I'm an adult looking for an outlet to talk about my hobby without receiving blank stares in return. You can contact me thusly.
