Dennis Martinez will return to the major leagues next year as the Houston Astros' new bullpen coach. "El Presidente" was most recently an instructor in the Cardinals' organization, but now he'll be answering the phone when manager Bo Porter calls for a reliever. Not a bad gig, all things considered.

I don't know if I love the look of the 1982 Topps just because of the Ripken rookie cards, but man... I sure do love these cards.
I'm happy that he'll be here in Houston next season. He's really had a nice career in baseball. Back in the day I never would have figured it, he was a pretty fast living guy.
And I have two fo those Starter jackets like he's wearing on the card. I'm always glad when we hit the six days in Houston that are cold enough to wear it.
