Melvin Mora, 2003 Upper Deck Vintage #132
The expression on Melvin Mora's face says what I'm thinking tonight: baseball is dumb and we're dumb for liking it. How is it possible to score three runs or less in six straight games against the Twins?
I can remember playing with baseball cards as a toddler, but I actually started collecting them when I was ten. Now I'm an adult looking for an outlet to talk about my hobby without receiving blank stares in return. You can contact me thusly.

I always remember a commentator saying that when Melvin was at bat, his game face looked like he just ate something bad.
GCA - That's exactly right! I also remember that he had one of the ugliest-looking swings whenever he whiffed. You'd wonder how he ever made contact.
