Tonight I was going to start a dialogue about Terry Crowley's inexplicably long tenure as Orioles hitting coach, but I've spent all day moving into my new house and I'm quite pleased that I'm finally here and mostly settled. So I'm going to let it ride. You win again, Crow.
I really don't know if there is anything to say about Crowley. For that matter, I don't know if there is anything else more to say about the current team in general. There are sooooo many things that befuddle me about the current state of affairs.
ReplyDeletecue the rant from "Manager's Corner" take it away Earl...
ReplyDeleteI loved watching Crowley play in the 70's. He could come up to bat in any situation and hit the ball anywhere he wanted, with seemingly very little effort. He didn't get much glory because he wasn't a power hitter or a speedster, and you don't get famous hitting sacrifice flies or texas leaguers. But he was and is a wizard with a bat.
