I still have a hard time picturing Boog as a left fielder. 1962 was the year I first saw a game at Memorial Stadium and Boog had a big part that night. My Dad and I drove down to Balmer and went to a doubleheader against the Red Sox in June. Boog hit a ball over the centerfield hedges.
